I bought my first drift car in 2009, while I was still deeply involved in rally competition. (That year, I won the Eastern Regional Championship.) The car that I bought was a s13 240sx with an sr20 engine. The locals were soon calling me the drift outlaw. On a side note, no tickets were issued, just a bunch of warnings followed by, hey, drift that corner over there and then go home and park it for the day. I watched all the drift videos and shows that I could and soon became hooked.
My first time working with an FD driver was in 2012. A driver by the name Dai Yoshihara.
The following year, 2013, Ryan Tuerck came to the rally school and suggested that I give drifting a try. That summer, I started going to drift events, and in 2015, I drove a 92 Mustang notch back in my first event.
In 2017, l opened a drift school to help introduce people to drifting and get them started in a fun and positive environment.
I ran the drift school for several years and a drift event company, NEDCO, of which I was the co-founder.
In 2023, I joined forces with Drift The East, whose enthusiasm, knowledge, and skilled individuals will take the drift school and events to the next level.
