4. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

4.1 Inherent Risks. You acknowledge that motorsport activities, including but not limited to drifting, car control clinics, and high-performance driving events, involve significant inherent risks, dangers, and hazards, including the risk of serious injury or death. These risks may arise from your own actions, the actions of others, equipment failure, track conditions, or other factors.

4.2 Voluntary Participation. Your participation is entirely voluntary. By registering for any event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these risks.

4.3 Release. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Drift The East, its owners, employees, instructors, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliated parties from any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, or liabilities arising out of or related to your participation, including claims arising from negligence.

5. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a safe, respectful, and professional manner. Drift The East reserves the right to remove any participant from an event — without refund — for behavior that is unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or in violation of these Terms or event-specific rules.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any impairing substance

  • Harassing, threatening, or endangering other participants, staff, or bystanders

  • Damaging property belonging to the venue, other participants, or Drift The East

6. Vehicle Requirements

Participants are responsible for ensuring their vehicles meet all requirements specified for the event they are attending. Drift The East reserves the right to inspect vehicles prior to participation and deny entry to any vehicle deemed unsafe or non-compliant. We are not responsible for any damage to participant vehicles during events.

7. Media and Publicity

By participating in any Drift The East event, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use photographs, video recordings, and other media featuring your likeness or vehicle — taken during events — for promotional, marketing, and educational purposes across any medium, including social media and our website. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, you must notify us in writing prior to the event.
